Summary
The Ayurvedic Path to Holistic Mental Wellness
Global mental health challenges require a shift toward personalized, integrative care. This review bridges ancient wisdom and modern perspectives, exploring how psychological well-being is maintained through the balance of Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas. By integrating therapeutic modalities like Sattvavajaya Cikitsā (cognitive-behavioral therapy) and Medhya Rasāyana (neuroprotective herbs), we can address the root causes of mental imbalance. This biopsychosocial framework offers a promising path toward emotional stability, cognitive resilience, and a truly integrative medical system.
