Next-Gen Memory Leads from Ayurveda
Can ancient plants hold the key to stopping Alzheimer’s? Using advanced computer-aided discovery, researchers screened 820 molecules from Ayurvedic medicine to find powerful dual-target compounds. By simulating how these plant metabolites block the brain enzymes responsible for cognitive decline, this study identifies three high-potential leads from Centella asiatica and Withania somnifera. This high-tech validation of traditional herbs marks a breakthrough in the search for non-toxic, multi-target neuroprotective therapies.
